Wayward City is an alternative rock outfit hailing from New Haven, CT. Formed in late 2015, Wayward City exploded onto the Connecticut scene by releasing a series of live, studio performance videos that blur the line between alternative and post-rock. With an earnest focus on songwriting, the group couples ethereal guitar textures with driving drum-and-bass rhythms to build an eclectic atmosphere through which singer David Torres' haunting but uplifting voice truly soars.

Wayward City spent the majority of 2017 playing shows around New Haven/Fairfield, CT and Brooklyn NY. They opened for national alternative rock outfits, Spirit Animal and Local H, and have played at the Space Ballroom numerous times as well as Foxwoods Casino and Two Roads Brewery, bringing very respectable draws each time. Wayward City closed out 2017 with a release of their new music/lyric video “Toeing lines”(link below). The band is currently writing new material and planning for a big 2018 filled with new audio releases, videos, and numerous shows throughout the Tri-State area.
