The Vics is a band coming out of California Univ of Pennsylvania formed in January 2016. They were winners of the Battle of the Bands in February 2016 sponsored by the Washington Symphony Orchestra and were featured at the WSO finale concert, "We Will Rock You" in May. They have been playing local Pittsburgh venues including The Hard Rock Café  and The Rex Theatre through the present.  The Vics released their debut EP Sparrow  (Sinners and Saints; Not Your Man)  (Spotify/ITunes) which is great and fresh in the Indie/Blues Rock style. The Vics released their second single Juveniles from their album in spring  2017.  It’s a little edgier than prior releases but maintains Indie/Blues Rock quality. Their self-titled album has as a great sound and includes their two singles.  They've captured a nouveau sound in Surfing With Abbey, Put a Little Pepper On It, and Ace of Hearts.
