RETROGLYPHS is the 80s-inspired synthwave quartet led by producers Frank Cervantes and Josh Dowiak. The duo’s longstanding musical partnership (which has included bands such as The Once Was) yielded several original songs with 80s vibes in late 2016, receiving buzz from a growing retrowave community via Soundcloud and NewRetroWave’s “WeRuleNation” YouTube playlist.

 

Remixes from producers in the Netherlands (Jowie Schulner), Poland (UNITRA), and Sweden (Damokles) soon followed, taking the project to new heights within the retro scene worldwide

 

Since releasing their self-titled debut album in May, the band has twice been selected as 88.5 WXPN’s Philly Local Pick by Helen Leicht, and continues to garner praise from blogs, radio stations, and fans from around the globe. The band re-released their debut album with bonus content in 2018, backed by NJ label Pyrrhic Victory Recordings.
